Just remember when they are making those decisions that they are talking about a human life, and to have some empathy because it’s very easy to make decisions, broad stroke decisions when it’s not actually your body that you’re talking about. Participant 28
Find out what the patient or their family can understand and push those boundaries a bit and give them as much information as possible. Not over the top. Information that they can absorb, I mean. Participant 1
Just give the patient their choice and give them more options, I guess, and to support them with their options. Participant 38
I’m not complaining but when they said you’re going to have six BCG treatments, I thought, “Well, I will sit in a chair for three hours and have an infusion,” but it’s not that. You’ll have to go home and Google it and find out what’s really going to happen to you. That’s how it is. Participant 39
